Lactation Consultant/Childbirth Educator
Leslye serves as one of our in house lactation consultants on alternating Wednesday and Saturday AMs. She earned her B.S. degree at the State University of NY in Buffalo, and a Master's degree in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University.
Although a former New Yorker, Leslye has made Los Angeles her home for more than 25 years. With more than a quarter century of experience in the fields of pregnancy, labor, postpartum and parenting education, Leslye offers a breadth of expertise to Boulevard Pediatrics and its families. She can offer support as a labor coach and can provide breastfeeding counseling in your home. Leslye has always considered it a privilege to maintain contact with her clients and remains accessible to answer breastfeeding questions, to assist with weaning a stubborn toddler, to help refresh a mom before a subsequent birth, and lend an experienced ear for your parenting concerns. Polly Gannon, CCE, CLE, NCS
Lactation Consultant/Childbirth Educator
Polly also serves as one of our in-house lactation consultants on alternating Wednesday and Saturday mornings. She has over 25 years' experience working with newborns, infants, and toddlers. She has worked in maternal-child health clinical settings as well as in private homes. Her passion is educating parents on their journey through pregnancy, delivery, and bringing baby home. She strives to give both baby and parents a healthy start on their wonderful journey to parenthood.

Tracie Kesatie, M.A. - Certified Gentle Sleep Coach
Infant/Child Sleep Specialist
Tracie is a certified Gentle Sleep Coach by The Gentle Sleep Coach Program. This program is the most extensive professional sleep coach training and certification program available. The program scope involves case supervision, an exam, and over 80 hours of training with a faculty panel that includes two medical doctors, a psychologist, an attorney, a lactation counselor, postpartum doulas, and a family therapist. She has spoken to audiences of sleep-starved parents and caregivers on media outlets, podcasts and publications and also leads in-person sleep workshops and support groups at A Mother's Haven in Encino and Mama Needs A Drink in West Los Angeles.

Postpartum Depression - How To Know If You Have It
Depression and Anxiety in Pregnancy and Postpartum
While many women experience some mild mood change or "the blues" during or after the birth of a child, 10-20% of women experience more significant symptoms of depression or anxiety. Any woman can suffer from pregnancy or postpartum mood or anxiety disorders. However, with informed care, you can prevent a worsening of symptoms and can fully recover. It is essential to recognize symptoms and intervene as soon as possible so that a mother can get the help she needs and deserves.
