Immunization Schedule

What is presented here is the typical immunization schedule as recommended by the CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). While all of us here at Boulevard Pediatrics promote this schedule, if there are any concerns or thoughts you might have, please come to us to discuss it further as we firmly believe it is imperative we are all on the same page when it comes to childhood immunizations.

  • 2 month well child care (wcc) visit: Pentacel (DTaP, IPV, Hib), Vaxneuvance (pneumococcal disease), Engerix-B (Hepatitis B), Rotateq (rotavirus)
  • 4 month wcc visit: Pentacel, Vaxneuvance, Engerix-B, Rotateq
  • 6 month wcc visit: Pentacel, Vaxneuvance, Rotateq
  • 9 month wcc visit: Engerix-B
  • 12 month wcc visit: MMR, Varivax (varicella/chickenpox)
  • 15-18 month wcc visits: Daptacel (DTaP), Vaxneuvance, ActHib (Hib)
  • 18-24 month wcc visits: Havrix (Hepatitis A)
  • 24-30 month wcc visits: Havrix
  • 4-6 year wcc visits: MMR, Varivax, Quadracel (DTaP and polio), and PPD placement if needed (not a vaccine but to determine TB exposure)
  • 11 year wcc visit: Menquadfi (meningococcal disease), Adacel (Tdap)
  • 12+ wcc visits: Gardasil (2 or 3 dose schedule for Human papillomavirus depending upon what age started)
  • 16+ wcc visits: Bexsero (meningitis B vaccine-2 dose schedule) and 2nd Menquadfi
  • 18+ wcc visits: Adacel (Tdap)
